If you think it sounds good over on myspace, you want to hear it live, its supurb. One of the newer tracks they've been playing the last twice i've seen them.
They have other new tracks live too? Always Outnumbered was good (certainly a relief after Baby's Got a Temper), but not as good as FOTL and Jilted, no way near...hope their next album is good!

Just read over on Nekosite that they've moved from XL to their own label. Here's the press release:
"THE PRODIGY are back with their own new label, and this time they’re doing it their way. Always fiercely independent, the band have decided to set up their new label Ragged Flag, which will be the platform for their next album release and will subsequently act as an outlet for new talent that they find.
Backed by UK Independent label Cooking Vinyl, the deal will allow the band to continue to enjoy total creative control over all aspects of their music and how it is presented.
Prodigy founder member Liam Howlett commented : ‘”We have been planning this for a while and we are looking forward to building our label up, starting off with the release of the new Prodigy album. We have recorded a few songs already for this next album and they are sounding big and mean!”
“The Prodigy are one of the most relevant bands to today’s world,” said Cooking Vinyl’s Managing Director Martin Goldschmidt. “It is a real honour to be entrusted with handling affairs for Ragged Flag. This is a fantastic start to 2007, and it is the start of a new era for Cooking Vinyl.”
Says Cooking Vinyl’s Product Director Rob Collins, “We can’t wait to start getting music out there and show everybody just how great this band is.”
The Prodigy are currently in the studio working on the follow up to the number 1 albums “The Fat Of The Land”, “Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned” and “Their Law”."
It sounds absolutely terrible to me. Why can't they re release the Android EP and go straight to number one and be done with it?
Why are they even bothering doing stuff like this when people like Hybrid do it 1000 times better? Why aren't they doing a collaboration album with Hybrid?
New track played live the other day - Warriors Dance
I was there for that gig (fairly small warm-up show at the Rainbow Warehouse in Brum last weekend) and whilst it doesn't quite come over on the youtube clip Warriors Dance sounded absolutely incredible live. The setting obviously helped (it's the perfect venue to see them basically, not sure if the gig would have been quite so amazing if it had been a normal bigger venue or a festival) but as a whole they were so much better than the last time I saw them a couple of year ago, and the first time in over a decade I'm really looking forward to hearing more new tracks.
Just seen the Worlds On Fire track on youtube...apparently will be the first single. Although the sound is badly distorted in parts (even though the video is an official Prodigy release), it really does sound like a top tune, elements of old school prodigy in there as well whick I love!
If I can work out how to include the video, I will!
Warrior Dance sound proper old school, excellent!!!....sadly hints of Guru Josh in parts!
I'm loving the back to basics early 90's sound That sample you mention is off an old skool 12" i used to have but cant quite place. The only thing coming to mind is the Dave Angel Bootleg Mix of Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) by The Eurithmics. The more i think about i'm sure it is! Personally i love that sample and can imagine how good live that will sound. I saw them at Manchester a few years ago so i'm definately going to see them live again!!

The main sample from Warriors Dance is "Take me away" by True Faith, which has been used a couple of times recently - there was a breaks mix doing the rounds a couple of years ago.

I was refering to the horn sample and not the vocal sample
Heard Warriors Dance a month or so ago on you tube and I can't stop listening to it. Reminds me of the sorta No Good (start the dance) vibe and I REMOVED love it especially when it breaks back in. If I heard it live it would definately make me go mental! Good to see the new music they're making is more pleasing live unlike (in my opinion) any of the tracks from Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.
Bring on the new Album, they say its not gunna be out till the end of the year now....know the prodge it wont be till a years time
do not attempt to bypass the autocensor with misspelled swearing
