Have been waiting a while for a decent balls out action/comedy flick. This looks like a good one.

'Shoot em ups' out early next year as well. You wait years for a decent all out action film...

That does look good!
I liked the 'From the makers of...' bit!
Psycho
PS. I didn't have sound, so I might have missed something!

It'll probably be rubbish (or maybe that's because it reminded me of The 51st State and Revolver), but at least it looks bloody violent. w00t! This, and Crank, are now on my must-see list, purely because of an R rating

Despite being the SMALLEST trailer in the world, that looked so good, i've got a gunplay inspired Boner.

Try and watch it with sound, you are missing one of the things that makes the trailer great!

TV trailers make it look absolute poop, bad advertising. I ove the cinema adds
The TV adds make it look like its got no action and its a Guy Richie film, the Cinema ads look like a big, brutal action movie.

The review of this in Empire (3-stars) makes it sound average at best & they claim the expected huge violent shoot-outs are non-existent & what action there is, is "light on blood & coherence".
Still looking forward to it as you can never rely on Empire reviews.

I'm weary of Empire reviewing something so early particulary seeing as no reviews have turned up anywhere else.

There are reviews of it in Total Film and Little White Lies magazine too and they all seem to say the same thing which seems to be decent enough film with enjoyable bits, but nothing special.

I've seen it with work and I'd agree with those sentiments I suppose. There IS action, if not an enormous amount of it, and there certainly IS violence... it was fun, but no classic for me. A good time in the cinema, even if I won't be getting it on DVD.
I'm sure there'll be some who fall head-over-heels for it though.

Despite the luke-warm reviews here, I'm still looking forward to seeing this one. Looks like good fun, and a nice way of cramming some quality names into a movie. Enjoyable is really all I'm looking for out of a movie like Smokin' Aces anyway.
