They must have changed their routes or have a UK office now then as all my previous orders came direct from Germany or the Netherlands.

By the way, I also had my order for Episode III posted from Sainsburys today, another good bargain at £10.99

I ordered my copy from dvdpacific but unfortunately there is a message on their website at the moment saying they are closed at the moment due to hurricane Wilma. So as my order hasn't shipped yet, i doubt i'll get mine for a couple of weeks maybe longer if they have a lot of back-orders to despatch.

From what I have heard about their delivery times, they havent shipped it early, they have just shipped it so that it will be here for release day as orders from them take around a week to arrive.

But here's hoping they get it here for the weekend

Does the R2 have the Xbox demo? I would imagine if any extras are missing it would be that.

Can anyone with the R2 already confirm if the spines are still a perfect match or if they fell at the final hurdle with those horrid Irish certificates?

Time for one of the most asked questions...
Is the cover bilingual? Various etailers state it is but I can't find a cover scan.

My copy is on the way from Axel Music. I can't wait to spin this one, although I'm tempted to do a Star Wars marathon to watch the movie in context. Nah, I'll just watch it as soon it hits my doormat!

Mine arrived yesterday from play. It's the Canadian edition, what you don't see is that the spine is bilingual too so the spines don't match up with the other films if that bothers you. The picture and sound are absolutely OUTSTANDING on this release, far better than Episode 2, probably because the digital cameras the movie was captured on were several generations along from three years ago. You have a new standard-bearer demo disc here. I've done the deleted scenes, and think that the Birth of the Rebellion scene and Yoda arriving in his swamp should have been left in the movie, the other new scenes don't add up to much though, infact one of them, the Jedi in the fuel tank sequence, has FX shots that are still unfinished in contrast to the previous DVDs. I haven't done the commentary yet but the centrepiece documentary 'Within A Minute' seemed to me to be a bit of a missed opportunity. It's a neat idea, but by it's very nature (trying to follow EVERYONE involved in the creation of a single scene from script to screen), it becomes frustratingly bitty (we lurch from the actors rehearsing the fight to the lives of the on-set catering crew to the costumers etc. every couple of minutes without going into much detail on any of them). There are some interesting nuggets (find out exactly how and what Steven Spielberg contributed to Revenge of the Sith) but in no way is this as definitive as 'The Beginning' on the Episode 1 disc. Here's to the inevitable six-film 30th Anniversary box set for that.

Damn, went to Amazon.com to cancel my order and they've just posted it - should be with me before they finish the mini series . . .hopefully.

Definitely not ordering from Amazon again

I had read elsewhere that the Canadian release had French text on the spine which must make Episode 3 look really out of place next to Episode 1 and 2 but then saying that I have the UK release of Episode 1, the R4 release of Episode 2 and now have the R1 release of Episode 3 and they look out of place too.

Also, is it only the non-US releases that come in a clear dvd case with a double sided sleeve? as my R1 copy of Episode 3 is in a black case.
