Bad news about Steven Chow's (Shaolin Soccer) next movie - edit: good news!

Damn, well hopefully Miramax will only distribute in North America then and leave the HK release well alone.

"OK, So I called Sony to hear the news directly. I said "I saw online that Kung Fu Hustle was sold to Miramax. Is this true?" Their answer: "What? No. Absolutely not." Hope this helps."

So there you have it. Hustle's still with Sony and all is well.

I saw a trailer for this and it looked really funny, I suppose we still have quite a wait for the DVD?

I think it a (legal) region 3 DVD should be released fairly quick after the theatrical release in China. Probably like, what, one, two months?
Too bad I don't know that theatrical release date. Looking forward to this one.
