Xbox Image Viewer

Don't know if I can ask this on here, but here goes - mods please close if dodgy.

Is there an image viewer for the xbox that will show images in their original resolution ? I downloaded some images that I would like to use as the title screen on my projector (Sanyo PLV-Z2). The native resolution of this projector is 1280x720, which is the same res as the images.

When viewed on the projector using Xbox Media player they are very blocky. Is there another app that will display them properly ?

I don't want a link - just the name of the app will do and I will find it.

Have you tried xboxmediacenter? XBMP is no longer supported. Not sure about the resolution, obviously looks ok on my 32". I'm not aware of anything else, sorry.

I thought about giving that a try, but I assumed the image viewer was the same as in Media Player.

I will try it this weekend.

Any other suggestions just in case ?

what cable between xbox and proj, are you using?

I've not noticed any problems with various images using xbmc, even copies with my dual desktop wallpapers. Thats using the scart connection to my 28" tv.

Using the official MS hi-def pack, sent via component to the projector.

An update to this thread :

Using the new Xbox Media Centre solved the problem - images are now very detailed and look OK.

XMBC will also display in lovely 1080i !
