Maybe that is the in-joke after all? We the ones who stick with it to the end and keep watching - We are The Leftovers!

How can I say any more than what's already been said! Just WOW! That entire series has been the best TV I've seen for a long while. I'd say it's up there with the likes of Breaking Bad. It certainly is the most intelligent thought provoking show I've seen since I don't know maybe Baywatch!

I'm practically speechless. Just... Wow. Bravo Lindelolf, all is forgiven.

But as John said "I have no idea what is going on". A brave and fitting conclusion.

To be honest, I'd be OK with it ending here. I can't see how this could possibly be topped with another series.

That was really rather good. And yeah, it softens the blow of it potentially being the last, because it was a really fitting end.

The vibe I'm getting from this interview makes S3 a fairly strong possibility I think.

Another fascinating, unpredictable finale which was great to watch but at the same time, it is a confusing, frustrating watch also. I know the we have been told up front that nothing will be explained but throw us a bone Mr Lindelof!!

Apparently the ratings jumped from @650k to 950k for the finale and it's still getting rave reviews from critics so should be enough for HBO.

A different day slot and adding a big name star for series 3 sounds like all it needs to attract more attention.

They should have advertised that Liv Tyler got her bush out this series as that would have boosted ratings at least a little?

Very impressed. Interesting, good performances and good music.

The scene with the baby on the bridge is the most disturbing thing i've watched since i foolishly watched Snowtown.

That's great news! That article though is obviously written by someone who's never watched the show!

Excellent news.

Just started watching season 2 and was utterly confused (where are we?, who are these people? Cavewomen?)
Finished episode 3 and remembered why I got so hooked on this. I'm not close to fully understanding it or deciphering all the symbolism but it is compelling.

It's good to know in advance that it's the final season. They can focus on concluding the story with out worrying about being renewed for a fourth season.

I think that if it had been more popular, we may have gotten more. But I'm happy with three great, tight, well written seasons.

Good point! Maybe he'll take the time to eat something too as he just skin and bones! It makes me feel sorry for him when he slides out of the bath with that emaciated physique!

We just caught up with this.

From intriguing to irritating in about 5 episodes, first episode was better than all of season one, but then all the pseudo-intellectual toss crept in, none of it was especially clever or insightful.

Good acting performances, but this really was just about throwing stuff at the wall with the pretence that there that there were coherent ideas behind it.

It was just Lost all over again, and that final "I don't know what's going on" scene was practically a poke in the eye to the watcher.

Palpable ********.
