Well through your eyes it should have been 0-3 as all of Watford goals were offside! You would be top of the league if it wasn't for the ref!

Well we would have been for about 45 mins Taylor even tried his hardest to not give the most blatant penalty you'll see all season.

Rather than blame the ref I'll blame us for missing 4-5 great chances to finish the game off.that last Watford goal should have been a mere consolation

That's also true - the one Salah blazed over the bar was shocking; should have been out of sight way before the end (which is quite remarkable given how bad we were in the first half).

Klopp seems to be distancing himself from the Coutinho situation judging by the post match PC; not sure if that means he wants him gone or is just leaving it up to FSG to deal with.

I wouldn't mins seeing him gone for £100 million now, if it means we use the money to buy a couple of defenders

Coutinho has been a ****, but you should sell him and get on with strengthening. These things never end well, even though I'd love a world where he was benched and docked his pay. But those days are long, long gone.

That's all well and good, but how are you replacing him adequately with two weeks of the window left? If he's off,it should've been done as soon as the window opened.

Two weeks is plenty of time to get a replacement in if you know who you want and act quickly. But you've got to get rid of him asap as he clearly doesn't want to be there any more. It's too much of a risk to keep him and hope he knuckles down.

Watching the highlights, it looks a bit of a mixed bag. Good going forward and Salah looks a good buy for the money, but like many have said above, the defence needs sorting out.

As previously noted, first Watford goal cannot be offside, given that the ball was delivered direct from a corner.

Barca never thought they would lose Neymar - hence their panic in bidding for him so late in the window.

Liverpool should get Sigardsson from Swansea. Pay the £50m they want and **** off Everton.

Indeed. Far too late to sell him now. Do what we did with Suarez, post Arsenal bid, is new contract with more money and release clause that means he can go next summer.

You are aware that Klopp clearly only wants Keita and VVD and that we have spent all summer trying to buy them without any luck, right?

As for the risk of keeping Coutinho ... this is a WC year and, contrary to popular opinion, Coutinho is not the sort of player who is a shoe-in for the Brazil squad regardless of the sort of season he has.

Speaking of VVD, someone at Skybet doesn't know how %ages work

current probability of where Virgil Van Dijk will be at the end of the transfer window:

Liverpool 75%
Southampton 25%
Chelsea 16.6%
Arsenal/Man city 5.8%

No real surprise but ... neither Sturridge nor Coutinho have gone to Germany

This is some CL debut from Alexander-Arnold. He'd already looked good down the right before that goal.

It's criminal the way we defend. Any good work the attack does is chucked away all all the time. Still,i'd have taken that before the game.

That Courtinio is not worth £114m right? Seems very inflated.

He is worth at least that

And the £115M apparently includes £35M worth of add-ons. And, if the papers are correct, many of the add-ons will never be met.

Apparently we won't even sell if the £115M was all upfront in cash.

These apparently:

Winning multiple trophies in the same season
Winning multiple Champions League titles
Winning the Ballon d’Or as the world’s best player
Winning multiple trophies and the Ballon D’Or in the same season
Payment of the basic £80m fee staggered over five years

So a headline figure of £115M is actually just £16M up front. LOL

And that after they insisted PSG pay all the Neymar fee (which was a release clause figure) up front

That's seriously taking the ****. He's unlikely to hit most of those targets, and £16m a year over five years? Why on earth would anyone accept that offer?
