This drives me nuts. Video footage from phones at gigs never ever sounds or looks any cop and they'll always be at least one person filming who will stick it on Youtube afterwards if you're desperate to re-live it. But that's the key word - 're-live' - cause you'll have missed most of it the first time around.

Use your bloomin eyes and brain and have a good time in the moment for crying out loud.

No idea why you'd waste all that money filming the gig on your phone! Mental! Speaking of which I just got tickets for QOTSA at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. £95 for two tickets including booking fee and postage. Nuts! And I had to pre-order the album to get a pre-sale code.

Man, who wouldn't want a shakycam recording to prove that they saw the remnants of Guns n Roses exactly 30 years past their last shred of relevance.

Not embarrassed to admit I have tickets for Queen + Adam Lambert at the end of the year.

Slightly more embarrassing to admit having tickets for STEPS a few weeks earlier.

£95 for two tickets is good value these days!! I'm tempted to see them at the O2, but i'm only a casual fan.

Saw GNR last week, and fair play they did 3 hours, and were on time! Sound wasnt great, which was dissapointing.

Manics on Thursday in Bristol were fantastic (as they always are), although played less than 90 mins which made me feel a little short changed. Tickets were still available on the day for a 5k venue.

Around 90 mins sounds about right to me. 1st time I saw them they did 45 mins and I was bloody knackered at the end.

It was nearer 80 mins. Just expect a bit more from a headliner. They are my favorite band, must have seen them nearly 20 times. I suppose I am spoilt by gigs like the National Treasures O2 gig where they played all 38 singles.

If you've not seen them for a bit well worth it - just a fun night out (like we were 20+ years ago) some bad dancing, lots of sweating and to stage or not to stage?
