Opening an S&S ISA as well as Cash in same year

I've already opened a new Cash ISA account this year, so am I allowed to open a S&S one too?

Sure you already found the answer elsewhere - but yes you can, you can have one of each.

The only stipulation is the £20k maximum amount you can deposit per year, split however you wish between the two.
