I'm only(?) level 34 and the only Pokemon I've got fully powered up is a 98% Dragonite at CP3343. I regularly see level 36 players and 3400+ Tyranitars!

I think that's a good plan with gyms, this area is so densely populated I've not encountered anything like that. Certainly a 2332 anything wouldn't last long.

I'm off out on my bike later and dropping my 2750 Chansey somewhere, see who can be bothered fighting that!

I'm only level 32 and my only Dragonite has rubbish moves (SW/HB) hence not levelled up. My highest is a 2891 Snorlax, but he's been in a gym since I hit level 32, so could be levelled up a couple of times, if he ever comes back from a gym. In the mean-time I'm levelling up the rest of my Snorlax army
I hope you mean 2750 Blissey btw
My only Blissey is 2384 and has been in a gym for about 6 weeks and is 9th of 10

You want a few very high CP pokemon regardless of moves IMO, when you slap something in a gym, the higher the CP the higher it goes in the order. So if you can squeeze the best pokemon in a level 10, then it's pretty much there. I've had a couple in a gym for months

Yes, a Blissey! It'll be a proper nuisance!

I'm with RB, only develop very high IV Pokemon for gym purposes, higher the better. My 98% Dragonite takes some beating due to it's high stats. At that stage, high IV can mean an extra 100CP, which is a hell of a lot of candies.

The grass event was great for powering up two Exeggutor with solar beam for clearing out water type gyms, of which there are many.

Of course it may all change with the gym rework

Getting myself a third Graveler from the event, I find it's a pretty versatile gym attacker.

The gym rework has been in the offing for ages, I'll worry about any future changes when I see them. Although I guess they'll want to reduce the coins or something

I'm only level 28 but have a couple of 3,000+ beasts. Where i live though you can't keep a single one in a gym, the rotation of them is crazy, on minute its 10 out of 10 with 5 3,000+ at the top and the next day it's got one 450 bloody bat in it.

Hatched 3 Larvitars this week to finally evolve a Tyranitar, they are monsters, every power up is 52CP!!!

I'm still of the opinion that you need attackers and defenders, but some Pokemon with a high CP are too easy to dislodge, Rhydon and Tyranitars are easily taken down with Vapes, and who hasn't got an arm of those!

Blissey is the obvious one that's hard to dislodge but Gyarados when over 3000 is a pain, especially if there's a few of them. My Jolteon has to come out, shame Electabuzz is underpowered.

Haven't found a single Larvitar in this event, was I supposed to?

Not seen any pokemon which aren't uneasy to dislodge, Blisseys are a pain, but the rest are OK and nothing unmanageable.

I'd only caught 1 Larvitar before, had 3 this week, one outside my house which is the first rare thing that has ever spawned. However have hatched 3 this week!!!

Blissey gyms really are a pain.

Hatched just the one Larvitar so far (only CP540, but battle with the best"), and have it as my walking buddy now.
