Talking [PS3] Anyone playing 'weird' import games?

I picked up a couple of less common imports for the PSP when I first got it, I've now started on the PS3.

Baseball is a new interest of mine so I got hold of MLB 2K7 and MLB 07 The Show is on its way, both US games.

However it's the Japanese ones that strike again. Having been sucked in by Densha De Go on the PSP, I just couldn't resist Railfan!

Controlling trains, it's SO dull but SO darned addictive!! The one new thing is that there are several camera angles and it's all in HD which does transform things quite a bit.

So is anyone else taking advantage of the PS3's region free capability to play 'odd' games?

MLB 07 is just a fantastic baseball game - doesn't look the best you'll see but it plays so well

I must say I don't fully understand why some of these games aren't released here especially when they're in English and region free anyway.

By the same sports team, 2K sports, I'd also recommend importing All Pro Football 2K8. It's an American footbal game with legends. It would be the priority on my list, if i had a PS3.

Limited market would be my guess.

A bit like Soccer in the US.

Is there a list of Jap/US games that connect to the UK PSN (or don't need it) and have no (or minimal) language probs? And are cheap... and where to get them.. .. and.........
