Let's not be fooled.

These people know who are buying their 'Blu' titles, which titles they are, which country they start off in, which country they end up and exactly why they do so.

Wow. I'm so please to see this thread really taking off. Was like a ghost town for a while. The main listing I maintain at DTV is getting harder as the forum has been experiencing quite a few technical problems recently.

So, since they won't get the news yet:

Batman Begins - Region Free
Batman: Gotham Knight - Region Free

Yeah, it was a safe bet given they are a warners release, but confirmation is nice.

Also, anyone else noticed Warner are distributing the Star Wars: Clone Wars movie and not Fox. Thats good news because that means region free.

I can confirm that the Region A of Persepolis is region locked after it was initially announced that it wouldn't be.

Rambo though is a bit of a mess with its global rights which may explain it.
US Lionsgate region free
UK Sony RB only
Germany Warner RB only

So it may have been a requirement of their distribution deal for Germany as the 4th film was an independent rather than studio production.

Other recent Warner films which they have global rights to like I Am Legend and 10000BC are all region free in BD.

Surely that list means it IS region locked as they only list the areas in BD RA.
There is no mention of Europe and Australasia which are RB.

I am about to buy my first blu ray. Can someone confirm that the US version of Terminator 2 is region free and what version of the film is on the disc?

I got a new Samsung BDP1500 and no BD to play on it yet.
