Is it safe to say the revievers for US BD's are going to be looking at the same exact picture as the UK releases? I just ask because there's now no PAL/NTSC differences is there.

Depends on which studio releases it in which country.

You can bet that something like Pirates of the Caribbean which is released by Disney everwhere will have the same transfer. In fact, it's probably safe to assume that any title released by the same company both here and in the US will more than likely use the same transfer.

However if you take something like Pan's Labyrinth which is released by New Line in the US and Optimum in the UK then they both have used different transfers and there is a noticable difference between them.

Depends. Some people say that New Line's DVNRd it so much to remove all trace of grain that it smears the picture (although I have it and it looks superb) whereas Optimum's retains the grain as it should be.
But then Optimum's doesn't include the amazing DTS-HDMA audio track.

Yes. Get in!

BEE MOVIE - Region Free.

That's a massive release. Like Cloverfield.

Long may Paramount remain that way!

I got mine from Yes Asia who has free shipping (and I had a $5US voucher)

You can also get it from Play Asia and dddhouse. These guys are cheaper than yesasia but you have to pay shipping.

I grabbed my copies of Infernal Affairs 2 & 3 from dddhouse as they were the cheapest (they also have a box set of all three). Infernal Affairs 1, 2 & 3 are all region free on Blu-ray.
