What about Moto G5? decent camera for the price and battery life is good, maybe not last 36 hours as wanted. I have the 3gb of RAM one from amazon (but thats more than £150) and I really like it.

Some sites are selling the 2gb of ram for £150

Is the G5 a big upgrade from the G4? I had one of those, briefly, and while very nice, it ran like a dog.

I had (and still do on my desk in front of me), an Ulefone Future. Battery life of 1 - 2 days, crap GPS, no support from Ulefone. Their last update broke fast charging, and then they stopped talking about it and focused on the Ulefone Metal, despite the Future being their "flagship" model. Even their forum for the Future has a sticky at the top for the source code for the Metal.

I bought an LG G4 for £250 from Argos in the end and am a much happier person. Camera is great, phone easily lasts 2 days with mild use. Though to be fair to the Future, the screen is superb and the camera is OK at a push.
Just checked and it's an iPhone 4

Wife is no gadget geek, she one of those who sits watching non high def channels and proclaims that there is no difference. She would likely not notice the tech in any new phone but would need a battery that had a good run length (the current iPhone now struggles hold a charge during a day out of house) and would want a camera that was just simple point and click and would guarantee her a good picture, again though she would not want / notice slight deviations in a picture due to a lesser lens, just that wants a good picture.

Hence really the budget. Feel anymore than around 150 would be wasted on her and better spent on something else for her

What about this? Lenovo Zuk Z2. 4GB Ram,64GB onboard. £155 from GearBest. Choose British Priority Direct and it usually comes via the UK warehouse from HK and delivered by Yodel normally.

Spec wise at this price then nothing beats it..

http://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp...M08aAiGG8P8HAQ

It even looks abit Iphone-ish..

Android might be abit of a shocker though if coming straight from IOS.

Video Review. There is a community behind it as well on XDA and has its own EU Forums...

At 1080p, 5" and £150 nothing comes close.
I'm tempted myself but looking for a 5.2" 1440p phone.. The Le Max 2 is great at 1440p and 5.7" but too big to carry around everywhere. I'm typing this on a InFocus M808 which is 5.2" 1080p and it's a great little phone.

Do we need 1440p on a 5" phone? . I read an article that says your eyes can't tell the difference above 300ppi and the S7 is 576ppi.. This Lenovo is 441ppi.

Personally I think 5.2 is the ideal size. The Lenovo K3 Note I got is a lovely phone but at 5.5",just too big if u haven't got a coat on.. 5.2" slots in a pocket easily..

While the standard g5 has a slower snapdragon processor, I have no issues. A friend has g4 and runs great

Mine was the regular G4, not the plus, and was noticibly slow compared to my OnePlus X

Yep. All the phones I'm using or got at moment.. All but one came from GearBest.. The Lenovo K3 came from DX.
With GearBest. You'll get 3 shipping options. Direct Shipping.. They post from China for you. British Priority Direct which I always choose now as it goes from China Warehouse to UK Warehouse and then is delivered by Yodel.
DHL- You pay extra for and expect to get hit by Customs.
The other 2 I've not been hit by customs and the priority Mail option a few weeks ago took 8 days from dispatch and 48 hrs to dispatch. Overall it was 10 days.
Ordered 24th March, Dispatched 26th,Showed up on Tracking at Shenzen Sorting area on 30th. In UK on 4th,Delivered on 5th.
They attach a photo of it packed and labeled up on yr account. Take that tracking no and use it on the Yodel site and watch for it on the Yodel Tracking..

Never had a problem as I believe they check the stock before it leaves so never had to send anything back and nothing gone faulty on me.

Cheers. Sounds ideal. I just got confused with all the warehouse choice and version choosing. So I'll order the phone with the middle option. Thanks.

Funnily enough I was going to put that in but couldn't remember the exact wording

The light Summer jacket I have has a pocket on the inside big enough for a 5.5 but I still think 5.2 is the sweet spot.

I ordered and she has had it today for her birthday
Lovely phone, very quick, lovely screen, its better to be fair than my Iphone

HOWEVER - help / advise is neeeded, She is on pay as you go, this morning she has just under £10 credit, she has just come home now and has just over £3

She has hardly used the phone but her credit has dropped loads and the battery, something which every review says is solid, has run from 100% at 0900hrs to 21% now !

How do I find out whats eating battery and credit ?

I've read on some phones that the battery stabilises after 2-3 discharges. As for DATA then go into settings for Google Play Store and select only update over WiFi. I have mine set just to notify and never to auto update. No point updating integrated apps I'm never going to use.

I've got a ZTE Axon 7 on its way from China via Banggood..

I so don't need another Phone but I've always wanted one of these since I saw it but couldn't warrant over £300 for one as most I've ever spent on a phone was £155 on a LeMax 2 recently.

Banggood were doing a 4GB 128GB (they also do a 6GB version) ROM with SD Card support for £281. Add a £10 on for Insurance and Delivery and it came to £291.

I put it on the CC and while I was still thinking about whether I really need it,they Dispatched it within 48 hrs and it's on its way now.

2k Screen,5.5" AMOLED,Dual Stereo Speakers.

The Galaxy S7 has slightly better CPU and Camera is better in lowlight and edges it on daytime photos. (Not a big Camera phone person)

However a 2nd hand S7 (which I was thinking about getting for a while)was over £300 and this Brand New is under 300. Reviews say they can't fault the display and it's the best sounding phone out there. 7.1 available as well.
