Saw your video of falling through the game world

Noticed on amazon video, there is Ghost recon wildlands film, don't expect it to be good, saw a bit of the trailer and only recognisable face was the guy from dusk til dawn series who plays seth gecko

With the price already dropping, I got this at the weekend & despite plenty of issues, it's still a fun game to play. The all-important gunplay is solid, the game-world looks really good & varied & so far the missions & exploration has more than satisfied my sandbox appetite.

Obviously, enemy (and team-mate) A.I. are appallingly bad. Team-mates in particular are only useful for two things, revival & the overpowered multiple takedowns. The drone too, is way too useful, even without the multitude of upgrades.

So far, it's doing enough to keep me away from ME:Andromeda (which is fine as that game obviously needs a couple more patches)...

We were talking about this last night, the game is great, but we're glad we only play it a couple of times a week, otherwise it would get a bit drab. Had a few bugs such as my helicopter last night kept going up the way like the controls were locked so had to abandon it, and my mate sometimes can't use his drone or binoculars. Plenty to keep us happy for a couple of months yet though, massive game and good fun for a few hours a week.

Here's me successfully (the unsuccessfully) playing chicken with a train last night...

I'm going to see how I feel when I finish the game before deciding on DLC. Certainly not interested at Ł29.99.

I had cleared five Cartel areas before boredom began to creep in & I returned to ME:Andromeda. It's a shame as the Bolivian environment you get to play in is excellent & varied & the individual Cartel locations are well designed but the enemy A.I. is just appalling & there is little skill required to proceed through the game. It also didn't help that the G36c assault rifle is so overpowered & you can unlock it from the beginning via the Ubisoft Club. Even when silenced, it takes down everyone with one quick burst & is also effective at mid-range sniping...

I've only just started this and completed the first area. You're not wrong about the assault rifles, they seem really over powered not that I'm complaining. Combined with the sync shot it makes for great enemy encounters although a tad on the easy side so far.

You rarely feel underpowered. Most of the assault rifles are great. I've not used a submachine gun yet and I'm nearly done, it's all about the sniping and sneaking for me, although some of those stealth missions can be a bit sensitive.

Nearly done and I'm going to be gutted when I'm finished. Loved almost every minute.

Did you do the side mission where you have to sneak into a truck depot? Only mission in the game I couldn't complete. It broke my heart.

That, and the last mission are by far the hardest in the game.

I assume you know about the truck parked down the road (with one guard) you can steal?

Yup, stole that numerous times, both at day and night and got caught every time.

The last mission was tough but I did it first time, used a rebel drop to get a helicopter before it all kicked off and just flew to the big church/monument thing and just had to fight maybe 20 or 30 baddies.

We did that mission around 30-40 times before I found a youtube video, in which you just don't bother with the truck. At one side there are rocks you can use to climb over the fence, fire a flare over to the left a bit (away from the document you need to photograph), hope they go towards it and then run in, get the photo, then hug the back wall to the opposite end where there is a ramp of junk (and one bad guy). You can take out the guy and run over it or just wait til he moves and sneak out. They are so bloody sensitive in that mission.

Finally finished last night and 100% done. Easily one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. If I had been playing solo I would have been bored quicker but it's great in co-op. 9/10

There is so many animation glitches even after 8 gig patch, had enemy turning 360 degrees for ages, AI soldier floating in mid air shooting and my entire team stuck in the parachute animation about to land. Played it with a friend but needed 2 good other human players as his friend was retard at the game.

The game starts off fine but the game falls into the ubisoft checklist of missions without of the just cause craziness, being TC game it has to be this super serious **** stick ghost ops. It feels like any other open world 3rd person shooter now

It would be great if they had the nemesis system for the bosses, it does not feel like you are taking apart the cartel- it is just repeated copy and paste missions that don't have effort put into them (mass produced to get the game out and hit that "30 hours" of game play marker)

Going into the "*** it and trade it column" on Saturday. Hoping the new AC and farcry 5 don't feel like they are made on the mass produced ubisoft factories

I think they spent too much time creating a lovely large map with impressive, unique locations & not enough time utilising these with creative, interesting missions or have better A.I. to make it more of a challenge...

100% the map is massive but is a negative as its not fun to explore as it takes ages getting place to place. not sure where it comes from but developers think Massive map and sprinkling in repetitive side missions and boring collectables is a good idea

edit: also **** the idiot game designers who can't put in checkpoints when needed
