Good god, Lumines really is the daddy!

The music is stunningly well integrated to the game...will they add tunes as updates?

MADDOG - How the hell do you get 271,737? I am struggling on 67,676 (although I have only played it a few time for the first time today!)

That's the great thing about Lumines, each time you play it you will improve without ever really understanding why. Its almost like a subconscious learning. Eventually something will click and you will hit those kind of scores, there's no secret formula to it, just instinct and reflex which improves with repetition. There are people out there who can easily hit multiple millions, in fact to clear the game in one run you have to get a score of around 1,000,000+.

Very true. It's mostly about reflexes to get decent bonuses, think it took me over an hour to get my high score as well.

I think you are right, just had a go and managed to get 114,028..just got in the zone and went for it, the bonuses were going mad as was the music!

Has anyone managed the 30 squares in 30 seconds trophy (stopwatch mode) in Lumines yet?

Had a bash today - only a couple of goes, but 16 is my best so far. 30 is going to be a tough ask!

Hurrah! Bust the 300k barrier on Lumines last night

Was hoping to have achieved the 3 hours play in 24 hours trophy, but I couldn't feel my thumbs by the time I'd finished so had to give up.....

Wish the playlist feature was a bit more user friendly - could really do with a preview feature for the music when you select it to put into a list. There's loads of skins that while I'm playing, think are really good, but can't remember which ones they are when they're all lumped together in a list (the Ted Hughes inspired Iron Giant being an exception - love that one!)

I would probably enjoy that, but there's some terrible bands listed at the end of the trailer.

Apparently according to some folks on another forum everybody's golf and a couple of others were down to £12 for download. Need to check but psn down. Any idea when it's due back up?

Apparently, it's a ridiculously easy Platinum, so I might pick it up on the cheap at a later date.

Only 2 weeks until Gravity Rush with a demo out tomorrow IIRC.

That's a real shame - I really like the Resistance series, and a top draw shooter should have done wonders for the system, especially if they'd nailed the multiplayer

Thought it might be the case though when the likes of Official Playstation magazine and gamespot didn't have a review up yesterday, and it's out this weekend!

Shame about Resistance

Has anyone checked that really cheap (<£2) AR card game? Table Top Tanks? Think it came out at the end of last week.

You could always pick up Resistance: Retribution for the Vita instead - http://www.gametrailers.com/gamereview.php?id=9177

Yeah, I did that - haven't played it yet though....

Burning Skies gets 8 out of 10 from official playstation magazine, and the IGN review IMO reads better than it scores, so I may still give this a go...

The main criticism is that its a generic and uninspired first person shooter but then that describes the entire genre anyway.
