Saw it last night, top laugh indeed, probably 10 mins or so too long but still highly recommended with some great one liners and mickey takes on the 'genre'.
Just seen this, loved it. Truth be told I'm starting to get a little tired with the improv formula that's standard for American comedies these days, but 21JS is damned funny.
I enjoyed this also. I dunno how Tatum managed to pull it off but he was a lot of fun here. I guess comedy is his calling. They did a good and respectful job of updating the show; the comedy worked well in this instance, whereas I've found similar updates, such as Starsky and Hutch, utterly dire. The few cameos I spotted were very cool. Holly Robinson still looks pretty great too!
The sequel has pretty much been confirmed after this raked it in at the box office, so looking forward to that now.
Tatum was good. Perhaps not the comedy genius I'd been expecting after reading the reviews and whatnot - his repertoire mainly consists of saying "**** you [random place/person/subject]" - but he got the job done.
