Looking forward to the previously unreleased material from this great band. Ray Davies is one of the underrated pioneers and one of the best lyricists in rock. Brother Dave was an equally innovative guitarist.

I recently posted an article on my Rockaeology blog at http://*******.com/2verxzr that tells the story behind “You Really Got Me.” The raucous Kinks guitar sound created by Dave Davies has been copied by Hendrix, Clapton, Page and the rest. Dave created the sound by altering a tiny inexpensive amp he brought to the studio.
