My copy of 21 Nights has arrived. It's FABULOUS! Very large, beautiful full colour throughout, nice and heavy and great quailty printing.

Can't wait to spin the CD.

Lord knows what Amazon are doing with my order. Still they seemed to have dropped the price to £13.50

A full 77mins on the CD. £13.50 is an unbelievable price for what you get.

OK - I've been digesting this this evening.

CD - Fabulous. Great quality recordings straight from the soundboard. Rock Steady is quite wonderful. His true musicianship is fully on display. For me this beats out the 'It Ain't Over' bonus disc. A great release and takes me right back to last September and makes me wish I could see him again real soon.

Book - Big, Heavy, Glossy, Expensive feeling, beautifully shot and printed. Features all the lyrics to the Planet Earth Album and a few other tracks and stories
BUT - It's not a full retrospective of the residency at The O2. It's a concept book, it's shot by Randee St Nicholas (beautifully) and is a fashion book. I actually have my doubts that all of it was shot during the 21 nights he played in London. About 20% of it are shots from him on stage at the O2 or back stage or shots of the stage - the rest is concept and fashion shots - there is even a 2 page spread at the back detailing all the clothes and accessories you see in the pictures.

So, at £13.50 it's worth it for the CD alone. The book is lovely, just a slightly missed opportunity, but still great value for money.

I'm promoting his book goddam it!

Also, the live version of Alphabet Street brings the house down. It's the best version I've heard.

The CD is a cracker - you're right about Rock Steady, dunkrag - it's fab. It makes you want to play air-keys, horns, guitar and drums simultaneously while stomping about.

The CD is excellent...seems to be getting a lot of hate on P related forums for some reason!

The book? Well, it's nice, but it really is a rather OTT CD case (for me anyway)

What's the main gripe about the CD?
