The Wolverine

That latest trailer was pretty good. I'm quietly optimistic.

It can't possibly be worse than Iron Man 3 (or the last Wolverine film).

Next gen Xbox - what are we hoping for (and what will we end up getting!)

I want Kinect and 3D forced in my face. And a Viva Piñata sequel.

Methinks I'm gonna be very, very happy.

Batman: Arkham Origins

I was a tad disappointed but, as he's only supposed to be late 20s/early 30s in this, it makes sense. Conroy sounds too gruff for a young Bats.

I'm surprised Joker isn't voiced by the guy from...

Hannibal Lecter - The tv show, could actually be really good

Loved it too!

I really hope this doesn't get canned. If it does, hopefully a cable network will have the good grace to pick it up.

Die Hard 1/2/3/4 Special Editions coming soon.

Do we know if the extended version will be in the new Anthology box set? I looked at the specs last night and there was no mention.

I imagine it's the same. I doubt Fox think it's worth their time twiddling with it some more.

I guess it's a case of be careful what you wish for. It has a much harder tone than 4.0, with more swearies, practical stunts and violence, but...

Really looking forward to this, but I go on holiday the day before it comes out. Anywhere likely to ship it out before release date? (HMV.com were usually very good at this, but are now bye-byes)

Might be worth having a separate thread for the UK pace, or it might get confusing. Don't want to run the risk of spoilers either!

Yeah, I was just elaborating a bit on it. Seems odd they didn't purchase the rights to all the books. I'd like to see Mason Verger pop up.

Apparently, they can't use exclusive characters to TSotL. Hannibal's first patient in the show is supposed to be Benjamin Raspail, but they had to change the name.

(So I read, anyway...)

The End of LucasArts

I don't like it, it's too console-y and I like my games in one place. Plus Steam has extra features like gameplay time-tracking and achievements. Origin feels miles behind, it's just a basic launcher.

The End of LucasArts

They had a fairly reliable run of film tie-ins about ten years ago. They were never sublime, but well-polished and enjoyable enough. A lot's changed since then though.

Bah. I pretty much avoid playing EA games these days because they're Origin only. Plus they've had a poor track record of late.

"IRON MAN 3" (Shane Black, 2013)

What I meant was that in a roundabout way they've brought the Marvel universe to life on the big screen. That's never been done before as comic book movies have always usually been self-contained.
