tv ratio problem

Basically... I remember everything i watched on sky filled my lcd screen set on 16;9.... Seem to notice more since sky Hd that alot of old programs ie star trek x files and so on are 4.3 and i can't filled the screens even though i know they be stretched. My tv set to 16;9 and so is sky Hd settings.. Can i fix this?

Fairly new to all this but is there a way to download a game for xbox off the live thingy without having the xbox connected? Im thinking of a way to get it from xbox site and transfer with a pendrive or something. The game is trials evolution. Only reason why I brought the xbox.

HP Officejet 6500A printer - Tray to collect the completed printouts?

I have a HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One printer.

When printing from the front feeder, the completed printout falls out of the printer.

Isn't there meant to be a tray or something to collect the completed printouts?

There was on my old Canon PIXMA MP510.

Tesco are currently doing a promotion where you can get Wenger suitcases, a cabin case, garment bag, roller bag, backpack, messenger bag, laptop trolley bag and a wash bag at 70% off RRP when you use 10 vouchers per item (they give out one voucher for every �20 you spend).

I picked up the 24" suitcase (�34.99), the laptop case (�34.99) and the messenger bag (�11.99) last night and the quality is excellent. I have used one of their presenters for work for ages and it is also good.

Offer valid from 7th May - 29th July (vouchers valid for redemption until 12th August).

If you can't be arsed to spend �200 to get 10 vouchers then ~~Tesco employees who have half inched a wad of them~~ sellers on eBay are selling them for about �2 for 10 tokens.

Can anyone recommend a t-shirt printer?

Has anyone used any of the online t-shirt printing services and is there one you'd recommend?

Has anyone else had a problem with their local Royal Mail post service recently?

Up until a coupel of weeks ago ours was always great - stuff arrived quickly, deliveries were reliable and almost always before 10:30 am.

I get so many padded envelopes (ah the joys on grabbing secondhand discs for 99p) that I knew the postie quite well - always a grin and "good morning" even when there wasn't anything for us.

Then everything changed. We no longer get the usual chap. Deliveries have become later and later and sometimes not until 3-4pm. Everything seems to take a lot longer to arrive to.

We had a very strange letter from the local manager too - it was vague and confusing and spoke of "changes in working practise" and stuff like that. I'm guessing it was a way of telling us the service was now crap but without saying so in so many words.

I can't help but feel they're softening us up for a loss of daily service. But I thought that was mandated under law. In any case, I'm right in the middle of Hampshire's biggest city - so what's happening?

Anyone else had this?

I've been a staunch Royal Mail supporter for many years because ther service here has always been fantastic. It's taken a total nosedive recently though.

We've had changes in postie/temps before without deterioration of service...

I posted this on another forum and two respondants have said they have had the same thing happen, one four months ago.

Need help regarding proof set

Long-time member, first time (I think) posting in the photography forum!

Anyway, my partner, daughter and I went to a portrait studio a couple of weeks ago and had about 30 photos taken, as it was part of a promotion they were doing in the local shopping centre.

We will be going along this Monday coming to pick up the main photo which we got for a tenner, pre-paid.

There are a number of offers they are doing that cost upwards of �70 minimum which mean we would get a 'proof set' as well as wallets and various size photos.

I'm not sure what this means exactly, but can I take this proof set into a Snappy Snaps say, and get all the photos developed/ blown up etc?

I don't want to waste �70 if all I end up with is a useless set of tiny photos that I can't do anything with.

Informix SQL problem

Hi is there a way using SQL to select information in a column, insert dash's at certain points and output it without it updating the data in the table?

I have data in this format:

AS3Q34567BB
B52Q567845BB

I need it to look like

AS3Q-34567-BB
B52Q-567845-BB

I need to insert a dash after the first 4 digits and again two in from the end.
The DB is quite an old version of Informix running on Sco Openserver

I would appreciate any help
